We invite you to participate in a research study being conducted by investigators from Washington University in St. Louis. If you agree to participate in this study, you will be asked to complete an online survey regarding your knowledge and perceptions of data privacy in large language model (LLM)-based agentic systems. Specifically, you will answer multiple-choice and open-ended questions about data collection practices, user consent, and comfort levels with AI data usage. Your participation is entirely voluntary.
If you have any questions about the research study itself please send to privacylabwashu@gmail.com. If you have questions, concerns, or complaints about your rights as a research participant, please contact the Human Research Protection Office at 1-(800)-438-0445 or email hrpo@wustl.edu. Thank you very much for your consideration of this research study.
You are free to decline to take part in the project. You can decline to answer any questions and you can stop taking part in the project at any time. Whether or not you choose to take part, or answer any question, or stop being in the project, there will be no penalty to you or loss of benefits to which you are otherwise entitled.
In order to participate, you must be at least 18 years old and able to complete the survey in English. If you complete the survey properly, you will receive a bonus of $4.2 within 3 business days. We expect the survey will take around 20 minutes to complete.
